External Description

A completely separate accommodation sitting atop the Villa, the venue is a stylish and very comfortable apartment built on two levels. Wonderfully decorated, very well-maintained and completely equipped, this is the ideal in-town perch, walking distance to restaurants, boat launch and boutiques . A separate entrance brings you up to several staircases across a common garden to the very extensive, private terrace with stunning views of the village of Positano and the ocean and cliffs. The terrace, extensively landscaped with lemon trees, potted flowers and other plants, has been furnished with a large dining table for 6 for dining al fresco under a thick and vibrant bougainvillea vine. A second table, round and commodious, is set under another pergola just off the living room.
No doubt you will find yourself wandering out with a fresh cup of coffee first thing in the morning. The Villa – Penthouse can be rented with the VILLA itself to accommodate a total of 10.

Internal Description

GARDEN LEVEL
§ Two sets of double glass doors lead to the good-sized living room, charmingly done with white cotton covered couches and coffee table set on a white tile floor. A large fireplace occupies one wall. Folding table opens for dining for four if the weather is not suitable on the terrace. The antiques include a particularly stunning armoire. TV with satellite.

§ Compact but new and fully equipped kitchen with white cupboards (4-burner gas stove, oven, dishwasher). Separate, walk-in pantry conceals fridge, freezer, washing machine and additional supplies.

§ Small, all white-tiled bathroom (enclosed shower stall).
UPPER LEVEL
§ Two double rooms, both with king size beds which can separate into twins. Although small, they are nicely furnished and equipped with air conditioners. Each has an elegant dresser and small window overlooking the garden, with views of the ocean. A large walk-in closet is situated in the hall to be shared. Bright, all white tiled bathroom (enclosed shower stall) with large window framing fabulous view.

Parking spaces must be reserved on confirmation of booking, payable locally Terrace: approx 120 sqm – Shaded area under a thick and vibrant bougainvillea, equipped with a large dining table; lemon trees, jasmine, geraniums and other potted plants

Service

English speaking manager on call, 6 hours cleaning midweek and change of linen on Saturdays and electricity are included in the rental price. Air conditioning is payable locally in cash at the flat rate of Euro 60,00 per week . Heating is payable also locally in cash at the rate of Euro 120,00 per week. Refundable damage deposit of Euro 500, is due upon arrival in cash (euro) or double signed travellers’ cheques. No other form of payment will be accepted.

Access

Approximately 120 stairs from road level to terrace.

Distance

15 minutes walking down to the centre and ten more min. to the main beach ”Spiaggia Grande”. The nearest beach Fornillo is at 500 m. approx. From Fornillo is possible to walk to the main beach ”Spiaggia Grande” (400 m). A station for the internal yellow-bus is right on the road below. A short bus ride takes guests to the top of the village (every 15 min) from where one can get the blue buses marked SITA to Sorrento (1 h.) or Amalfi (1 h.). To the right of the main beach numerous ferries and hydrofoils ply daily between Positano and Capri (50min), Naples (50 min), Amalfi (30 min) and Salerno ( 1/2 h). Within few minutes walk there is a variety of shops, bars, internationally known boutiques and various
restaurants. Naples 60 km, Rome 267 km.
